Look out point is located at Kompleks Menara Tinjau,Jalan Ampang-Hulu Langat,Ampang. It is about half an hour from KLCC and is 280 above sea level and also known as little genting! Up in look out point there are 4 eateries;Look Out Point Western Food, Gasoline Cafe, Panorama Restaurant and Haven Restaurant. However, we chose to dine in Haven Restaurant. I must say this place offers a spectacular view overlooking Kuala Lumpur. Unfortunately, I am not a good photographer,huhu...

Honestly, I wasn't impressed with the drinks...all were toooooo sweeettt;

Appetizer; Haven's 2+1 Special (RM29.90) is a combination of buffalo wings, fish fingers and garlic bread. Well the buffalo wings were acceptable but it was a bit dry (not as good as those served in Chilli's)

Mushroom soup (RM8.90),I was expecting a bowl of creamy home-made soup and not Knorr/Maggie soup!

Grilled Chicken Chop (RM17.90). Well, quite a generous portion!A piece of grilled chicken with sides of fries,coleslaw and poached vegetables served with black pepper sauce. To me it was all right,it was just that the grilled chicken tasted more like Tandoori chicken.

Grilled Lamb Special (RM27.90) comes with a piece of medium done lamb, sausage, potato salad,corn and pasta and black pepper sauce. The piece of lamb was grilled perfectly;juicy and tender!the sausage and corn were not bad but the other two sides were tasteless.

Grilled Beef Special (RM29.90); beef version of the above. Again the meat was perfectly cooked.A little bit charred on the outside but juicy and succulent on the inside.

Spring Chicken (RM28.90). I think this was the best! The chicken was really tender although a bit dry but the spicy cream sauce was exquisite!It tasted like spicy carbonara sauce....

Finally the desserts....
Tiramisu (RM14.90). The tiramisu was ok,sufficiently good to me, . Chilled and it was not so sweet....

Banana...banana...banana....Caramelized Banana with Vanilla Ice Cream (RM12.90). I love this one, of course! The slice of banana was really sweet and the texture was not too mushy. The slice of hot banana and vanilla ice cream is a perfect match! The only thing is that;two slices of banana only?seriously???

All in all, I think I'll visit this restaurant again. Would like to try the pasta, next time!:)
